Celebrate Autumn!

On Wednesday I took the American Lit and the English IV classes on a miniature picnic while we read autumn poetry and ate apples and caramel to celebrate fall! The leaves were beautiful and fell all around us as we enjoyed poets such as Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. What a beautiful time of year!

Sounds lovely! The trees are just starting to change colours here. It's perfect scarf weather. I walk around in the gardens and memorize my lines for my drama class. Guess which part I'm playing? Hamlet!

What a beautiful picture of you, by the way! I love all your colorful autumn posts. Basically, you're the best teacher ever. Look at all the fun stuff your kids are learning! Not fair.
